Absolutely adorable James and Anna came back to visit me for their 1st year cake smash! I had photographed them when they were just itty bitty babies and my how they've changed and grown!

Although photographing energetic twin one year olds was a bit challenging, I'd say we ended up with some wonderful photos that will serve as memories in years to come...

On to the picture part!

I've had a few emails from my clients, both past and present asking if we've found out yet if we're going to be welcoming a second little girl to our family or becoming parents of a little guy!

Well, we did have an ultrasound a few weeks ago but knew we'd have a second one so waited to share the news until it was checked and triple checked!

With a great deal of excitement I can tell you that this nursery will be painted BLUE!!

And of course what photography blog would be complete without a picture?
(Yes, only a photographer would edit an ultrasound image. lol)

He has a bit of a scowl going on in this one. He wasn't a huge fan of the shaking and poking to make him move into a better position!

I've photographed little Nicholas three times now (once when he was still Mom's growing baby belly) and he's been a perfect little model every time! :)

Nicholas is the baby model for my advertising billboards as well as on the front page of my site - the photo of him in the yellow bucket. Nicholas went back in the same yellow bucket for a photo during his 1st year session! It's pretty amazing to see how much little ones change and grow in only a short year!

Thanks for bringing your little guy back to capture more of his special moments!

I was so excited to meet little Brynn! I photographed her Mommy's pregnancy a little while ago and couldn't wait for her to arrive!

I just loved working with the adorable little props Brynn's Mom brought to her photo shoot! I always like to be able to include special items or personalized props into photos for families! I also received a few of my own new props when Brynn was here so I just couldn't resist trying out the little paper hat and adding a feminine touch to it! :)

Mr. Luca was a fair bit older than the majority of newborns I photograph and I couldn't be more pleased with the photos we got during his session!

He loved to look right at the camera and gave me some of the nicest smiles! Just look at how adorable he is!

I'm just in love with this little fedora - it has worked on different sized babies in several different poses! :)

Meet Kalin! Kalin is the youngest baby I've photographed in a long time and also the biggest and most alert!

It's not too often we get mostly awake photos of such a young newborn but Mr. Kalin sure didn't want to miss even a moment of his photo session!

I've been just swamped with editing this last few weeks and slowly catching up! Its been quite busy with lots of adorable little babies to photograph. So, if you're waiting on a sneak peak don't worry - it's on the way very soon!

Here's little Willow! Her parents have a love of the outdoors so we used props out in nature for a few shots in her photo session. My favourite prop (the wooden bed) also was given another try with yet, another completely different set up!
