Happy Birthday!

This little guy was the only baby I've photographed so far this year who was born on a holiday. What fun! Trick-or-treating and birthday cake all in the same day!

This cute, cute baby boy came to my studio (yes, there's that word again, blog post coming soon!) for his newborn pictures and his Mom came prepared with this adorable camo blanket and mini hunter hat! His Dad is a hunter and after sharing a story with me about this little guy's first days at home I knew we just had to include these in the photo shoot!

Everyone with kids knows how busy any "holiday" can be - even Hallowe'en! I didn't get to post a Happy Hallowe'en message here yesterday but I hope everyone had a fun and safe night out trick-or-treating!

No blog post is complete without pictures so here are a few of my own little one!

To begin this post I'm going to need to start by divulging all sorts of exciting news before getting to the truly important part... this sweet little newborn!

I've had so many requests to recreate what was supposed to be a onetime shot over this past year since first photographing my teddy bear on a shelf photo that I've decided to purchase the original shelf!

 As a lot of my clients know, I sometimes find inspiration and props within their homes - this shelf was one of those times! I had borrowed it for one photo last year and it is by far one of my most requested shots - and one that I haven't been able to offer again. I usually don't like to recreate shots unless I can add something new to the photo. This one will be offered soon with something new... but what that is can wait.

The teddy bear shelf photo will only be offered in studio where I can create the perfect set up to make it happen.... hold on.... studio? What studio? More coming about that...

This perfect tiny baby boy is the highlight of this post (and the reason I mentioned the teddy bear shelf.) His big sister joined in for some photos and the love she has for her new little brother was captured in this adorable photo! It melts my heart every time I look at it :)
